My first children’s book is finally out!! The talented illustrator, Diana Amza and I poured our hearts out in this book and it is our honor to invite you at our book launch on the 18 November 2023 organised at Munt Punt. Munt Punt is an experience library in the heart of Brussels and one of the best places to interact, grow and learn. I couldn’t have asked for a better hosting venue!
The Mighty Oak Who Embraced Change is a story for children from 4 to 10 years old. The main goal of the book is to teach children about resilience and how to face their fears by looking at nature and how it deals with its periodical changes. Oakley is a tree who fears losing its leaves, acorns and friends with the changing seasons. His mother is there to lead the way and help him embrace his fear through fascination, curiosity and singing.
The book is self published in English and Romanian and it is supported by an army of women that I admire and look up to: Anamaria Vition, coordinator of the Prichindeilor Library in Belgium, Ioana Chicet-Macoveiciuc, author and blogger (printesaurbana.ro), Maria Răducu, biology teacher, Marie Phillips Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, Mădălina Taylor, teacher and Stefanie Vannieuwenhove, ecopedagogue, Cercles des Naturalistes de Belgique.
At the launch, we will sing songs, read the book and do an activity related to the book theme. All children will receive a small present and hopefully we will depart from the event with fuller hearts.
Books will be sold at the launching event in English and Romanian.
