On the occasion of Children’s Day and World Environment Day, The Mighty Oak Who Embraced Change came to life in a theatre play. The Romanian Cultural Institute and the Jette library supported this event and saw value in the message I am trying to send to the young generations: nature and books.
The theatre play was adapted after the book The Mighty Oak Who Embraced Change, published by Cartemma and it was interpreted by Diana Oancea and Amelie Van Noten. After the event, the children were invited to create small oak trees made out of clay.
The event was a success with 150 participants and many children who had a lot to share about the changes in their own lives. I hope this book will reach as many children as possible and that the message “Nature and Books” will resonate more and more for the coming generations.
